The Business Leader Role will play a vital role in driving growth and high-quality delivery in LDM’s key accounts. The ideal candidate will have a Management Consulting philosophy and approach to seeking out and developing key relationships and opportunities. You will work closely with our clients, our business units and delivery competency groups, our leadership team, sellers and influencers to harness the best of performance to solve and deliver engagements that drive specific client outcomes.


  • Responsible for impactful partnerships and development of long-term account success and growth
  • Transforms knowledge of client business objectives, internal and competitive opportunities, and customer insights into actionable marketing communications strategies
  • Influencing the efficiency and quality of work and advocating for the agency/client relationship
  • Maintains leading edge of knowledge of clients’ business and industry
  • Recognizes and seizes opportunities to contribute to agency new business
  • Manages client objectives, expectations and timelines, and communicates effectively to the internal team
  • Able to effectively articulate, communicate and present work that delivers business success for clients and ensures feasibility of delivery and implementation
  • Understands scoping of work, mapping of resource requirements and budgets
  • Achieves mastery of delivering and implementing modern marketing capabilities that build client satisfaction which opens up new growth opportunities for the agency
  • Serve as a mentor/coach and/or direct manager to more junior team members and supporting the development of these team members
  • Developing and maintaining high levels of team effectiveness (trust, communication, collaboration, productivity, diversity, engagement)
  • Understanding & respecting every department’s role in delivering great work and building relationships
  • Employ a framework of stringent quality and compliance controls to ensure success
  • Manage account operational activities and ensure accurate forecasting


  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, advertising
  • At least 10 years of digital marketing, account management, management level marketing or project management experience in an agency environment
  • Exceptional storytelling and writing skills
  • Outstanding project management, organization, prioritization abilities and thrive under pressure
  • A creative mindset and ability to think outside of the box
  • Proven skills or experience in sales can be helpful
  • Time-management, organization and leadership skills
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills in both spanish and english
  • Demonstrated strategic or consultative approach to account management
  • Strong aptitude for building “partner” relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Has deep knowledge and experience with digital, e-commerce and multichannel marketing
  • Has experience managing and growing and mentoring employees and teams
  • Understanding of what makes great work and what it takes to make it happen
  • Ability to stream briefs into the right workflow based on past experience and a strong understanding of integrated marketing communications principles
  • Plan, schedule, execute, manage and report on project progress and deliverables
  • Ability to manage expectations of internal and external stakeholders and team members
  • Ability to solve and overcome delivery issues and challenges (i.e. time, resources, budget, capabilities) that meet clients’ and agency’s interests
  • Self-motivator, willingness to stay up to date in a fast-pace environment, engagement and persistence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong presentation abilities
  • Strong listening skills and the ability to be open to new ideas from team members, coworkers, industry sources and clients
  • Ability to manage several projects at once with very strict deadlines
